Our biggest snow storm of the year so far, the house is decorated for Easter, we will be visiting Diana, Al and Abigail!!

We just had the biggest snow storm this year so far. Four inches are on the ground right now. Haley loves the snow but hates when it rains. She always gets scared of the thunderstorms and the rain. I hate thunderstorms too. Haha! The weather sure has been weird lately. It was just in the 60's the other day and now it is in the 20's. That is Missouri though. We never know what the weather will be like.

Our Biggest Snow Storm Feb 2009

Haley saying who is that?? I am having fun playing in the snow.

She would have stayed outside all day!!

Haley upstairs. Isn't she so cute?

Our cats are good. They are terrors in the house haha!! They want to get into everything they are not suppose to. They are very adventurous. They love to lay in the windows and look outside. They stay with us in our room at night. They would wake us up a lot during the night. The night we said we will move them back into their room if they wake us up, they decided to behave and from then on they have been better. Haha!!They still love to play as they are still kittens but they also love to sleep.

Toby was in the pet carrier first and then Boots decided to join him

Boots playing in the water case. See how I mentioned they get adventerous?

I wanted to decorate for Easter so we had enough time to enjoy the decorations and getting into the spirit. There are only a few decorations that we have but I guess little is better than none. I might buy a few more cheaper decorations but not go all out and buy a lot.

We are planning to go to Utah to visit Diana, Al and Abigail the end of March for a four day weekend. Abigail has her special blessing event that weekend so we are looking forward to meeting Abigail and to see all of them. We will be driving the Mustang and we will be using the GPS. We haven't seen Diana or Al since 2006 and so it will really be nice to see them.

An update on my Aunt, About 9 more months of being in this state yay, our three year anniversary is coming up!!

So hearing from my dad, my aunt is actually getting a little better. She sits up and talks and is kind of aware of what is going on around her but she is still in the hospital. She isn't in the best mood but that is what is expected with all the stuff that happened to her. I don't think I would be in a good mood either if that happened to me. So hopefully my aunt will get totally better and be able to leave the hospital and live her life well with her husband.

Tommy and I only have about 9 more months before we move out of Missouri and move back home to Florida. We can't wait. We look forward to it everyday. I just want to see my husband happy and him being in the military isn't what makes him happy. Sometimes we all have to go through rough times with our jobs and we know that but my husband has a contract with the military and he has to put up with a lot of things he wouldn't have to deal with outside the military. He even went over seas and taught Chileans how to build bombs (ammo job). He also doesn't want to be told that he has to serve over seas without me or our children. If he stays in, they will tell him to go to Korea for one year without me. We don't want that to happen. I am so proud of him for serving our country and I am so happy for all his accomplishments but he knows he can look back and feel that the military taught him a lot and it was a good experience. He wouldn't have to feel bad for getting out now after serving for six years than if he stayed in for another four years and doing ten years and then being half way to retirement. We are thinking positive about this whole thing and know we will be fine in the future. We want what is best for us and for our future children. Some family are worried about us but it is our life and we'll be fine.

Our three year wedding anniversary is coming up. It definitely feels like it has been a lot longer than that. We thank each other every day for having each other. I have to say it is the most wonderful feeling in the world to know I am loved and cared for so much every day. We plan to eat out somewhere nice for our anniversary. Not sure what else we will want to do just yet but as the time comes closer we will figure it out. We are trying not to eat out, but this special event we find it ok to.

Valentine's Day, Our diets, etc

Hope everyone had a good Valentine's day!! We did. Tommy and I exchanged a few little Valentine gifts like a movie and candies. We went out to breakfast. We also went downtown about ten miles away to a thrift shop to look around. We both got haircuts. I got about three inches cut off and the hair stylist straightened my hair at the salon. I was just so sick of having long hair so it was nice to get it cut off again as it needed a trim anyway. We planned for me to cook Honey Mustard Turkey but by the time we got home, it was getting late so we got Taco Bell for dinner. Hahaha!! We had gone out last night though to a fancy nice restaurant called Players. There Tommy had steak and I had this new scallop and shrimp sizzle meal. It was so delicious. We wanted to eat somewhere really nice. Then we went to the movies and saw "He's just not that into you." Tommy and I liked it. It was funny. It is definitely a chick flick comedy. We had a long busy nice day.
Our diets are going ok. I have missed my times at the gym and need to start back up again like next week. Last week I had headaches and this past week, well we were tired from work so we felt like coming home and doing dinner and then relaxing before bed. I know, these aren't good reasons to miss the gym. Tommy has been going in the mornings three times a week because he and the rest of the people he works with has to instructed by his supervisor. As far as eating healthier, we are trying.

Tommy is off Monday because of Presidents day. I have to work but I work in the evening.

We are praying Diana, Al and Abigail. We are thinking of Abigail and know Diana and Al will do their best at taking care of their baby girl. They are strong and will get through it.

Hope everyone is well.

My Aunt who is terribly sick and Tommy's new work schedule

So my aunt who is terribly sick in the hospital isn't doing well at all. She had surgery on her heart because of a blood clot the doctors found, her leg got amputated because it turned blue and the infection spead to it. She doesn't have much circulation going through her body. She has been in an induced coma for a month now and hasn't woken up at all. All the medication the doctors are giving her are doing nothing for her. Her body is rejecting it all and so she isn't getting better. Now her hands are turning blue. It is just so sad hearing from my mom all that is happening to my aunt. We are sending her a card even though she is not aware of what is going on. My uncle will really appreciate it though. We just really hope things don't get worse. I mean all this is bad enough. Please Aunt Jean, you are strong. You will make it. Don't pass away. I haven't seen you in a long time and will love to see you again someday.

Tommy starts days next week. He starts working in a new shop. They moved him to a new shop sooner and so he isn't complaining. He is looking forward to it actually. The people, the job he will be doing and just overall, a better working environment. Things weren't working out in the shop he was in and so it is for the better for him going to a new shop. He will be actually be building the bombs like he first did when he got to this base. He loved it. It was such an exciting job for him. They only have day shifts so that is good. When there are exercises though, he could work overnights but mainly he will work days. We really like him on day shift.

Congratulations Diana & AL, My husband's new work schedule, and Excercising

So Diana and Al (my sister in-law) had their baby last night. Congratulations you guys. We are so happy for you. We are just so curious to what you name her. Can't wait to see pics of her.

Tommy was off today. I came home with a massive headache and was tired so we decided to eat out at a steak house down the street. It was good. Not good for our diets but we could have gotten a lot worse of food to eat. Hahaha!!

Then we came home and are relaxing. Got to talk with Diana.

Tommy works Thursday and Friday day shift doing a special duty for those days and then may get a new schedule change next week. He may either keep working evenings or may be put on days. So we will see. Then the beginning of March he goes to a new shop and works days. He is looking forward to that. He doesn't like the shop he is in now. So things will be better.

I didn't go to the gym today and workout. So Tommy and I will go after work tomorrow. He was up early and was so tired and I was so tired too and with my headache, we didn't think exercising would be a good idea.
